We’re delighted to share that G W Martin has been shortlisted in two categories at the Make UK Manufacturing Awards 2026! We’re finalists for SME of the Region (South) and the Sustainability Award.
Being recognised in both categories is a fantastic acknowledgement of the progress we’ve made. From investing in our people and technology to reducing our environmental impact, these nominations reflect the commitment and hard work of our entire team.
Over the past five years, we’ve invested around £3 million in new equipment and facilities, including more than £600,000 since the start of this year alone. This ongoing programme of investment has enabled us to take on increasingly complex work, support our customers’ evolving requirements and continue our growth journey.
At the same time, we’ve continued to build on more than a decade of environmental improvements. Since achieving ISO 14001 accreditation in 2013, we’ve focused on reducing energy consumption, generating more renewable electricity and improving the efficiency of our Eastleigh facility.
These nominations reflect our commitment to investing in our people, technology and long-term future. It’s a fantastic achievement and a credit to the hard work and dedication of the entire G W Martin team, and we’d like to thank everyone across the business for the part they continue to play in our success.
